Jennifer: John a viewer called in and said they have a bog back yard and their neighbors planting a vegetable garden in the back, they plant it every spring for fifteen years is that a problem.
John: Well, eventually it can be a problem. There is a thing called adverse possession it’s not fifteen years, but in Ohio it’s twenty one years and if someone adversely possesses a piece of your property that’s like legal stealing property. And you don’t want someone to adverse possess your property, so if something like that’s going on you need to talk to a lawyer.
Thank you.
