John Joseph: Have you seen my pen? Is this my pen?
Jennifer Joseph: Oh my gosh, John. That’s marital property!
John: Marital property?
Jennifer: Yeah. In Ohio that means that if that was purchased during the term of our marriage (we are married), then this is marital property. But if it was gifted to me, or I got it by inheritance, or I got it before we were married, then it would be mine.
It STILL might be mine.
John: We better never get divorced.
Jennifer: It will never happen.
John: Thank you.
