Speaker 1: Jenny you’re the divorce lawyer, you get a call from someone who says I think my spouse is cheating on me. Can they record the conversation between that spouse and the other person in Ohio?
Speaker 2: Not in Ohio. In Ohio you have to be a party to the conversation. So if your spouse is having a telephone conversation with somebody who is not you and you record it, that could be wire tapping under federal law.
