In Ohio, there is something called Civil Rule 75, that allows us to come back to court on a re-do, asking the court to have a full evidentiary hearing to reconsider the original order.
The litigant who does not like the Temporary Order would gather and present evidence to prove why the magistrate got it wrong the first time. If what just happened with the magistrate was a bad result, under Rule 75, the opportunity to take it up with the judge for the judge to reconsider what the magistrate did.
